Me again! Ready for another rant? 🤣🤣🤣 Too early? I’ll keep it short.

We are supposed to be in Wilmington tonight. We were supposed to be in Sneads Ferry this morning but I talked with Nicole from The Crooked Lotus yesterday and we agreed today would be a wash. The weather, you guys. I know, it’s just rain. But when the forecast shows 100000% and you’re pulling a giant trailer behind you for 4 hours roundtrip and have to set up and try to serve, hoping it’s worthwhile….. it’s rarely worthwhile. And it’s dangerous.

5 minutes down the road is one thing. 2 hours down the road is another.

There is NOTHING I hate more than cancelling events. NOTHING. Just like we food truckers talk about the crappy venues to avoid or how well we do at certain venues…. don’t think for one second the venues don’t talk about us food truckers. I’ve heard it. I know.

I hate cancelling because—-

1- It makes us look hella unreliable
2- It makes us look hella flaky

I assure you, we are neither.
